About Alex
I’m Alex, a marketing strategist and consultant supporting mental health, wellness, and care-led organizations.
Before this work, I owned and operated Sweet Hart Kitchen, a bakery in Toronto’s Kensington Market, for seven years. Running a business shaped how I understand sustainability, capacity, and care. It also showed me how deeply business decisions affect real people, both behind the scenes and in the communities we serve.
During that time, I collaborated with aligned brands including Earth’s Own, Garden of Life, Becel, and Evolving Vegan. My work has been featured in Toronto Life, blogTO, NOW Toronto, along with other notable media outlets. These experiences taught me how meaningful, values-based communication builds trust over time.
As my work evolved, I felt drawn toward supporting people more directly. That shift led me into the mental health and wellness space, where communication often carries a deep and profound impact.
Alongside my marketing practice, I work within clinical and therapeutic environments and am currently completing training in Gestalt psychotherapy. This informs an ethical, grounded approach to communication that prioritizes clarity, consent, and care.
I work collaboratively with individuals and teams who value intention, sustainability, and human-centred growth. My goal is to support work that nurtures these qualities, in both life and business.
